The assembly of Rodrig Flex is very simple.
- Remove the plug at the end of the carbon tube and take out the two aluminum rods
- Attach the rod into the two front attachment points on the boat. A catch bag can also be attached here as in the picture.
- Push the rod into one side of the carbon tube and tension it so that the carbon tube comes across the boat.
- Thread the second aluminum rod through the attachment point and into the carbon tube. Detach the other part of the aluminum rod and thread it through the front attachment point. Put the rods together in the joint so that the buckle holds the rig in place. If desired, you can secure with rubber bands or strips
- Mount the desired accessories in the StarPort attachment. More fasteners can be fitted as required.
Here Rodrig is mounted in place. The aluminum rods are in tension and ensure that the carbon tube remains stable in place. You can secure with rubber bands if desired.
