The Anfibio Sigma TX is a serious backpacking boat due to its low weight. Taking a passenger on easy rivers and lakes is also possible without any problems. For short distances and lower loads (especially with only one person), livelier, wilder sections can also be overcome. However, it is not recommended for use in whitewater for two people.

Configuration and equipment

The Anfibio Sigma TX is still the lightest two-person packraft to date. A per capita weight of around 1 kg impresses hiking partners and ultralight enthusiasts. The block seat and adjustable backrest double as a front seat. The attachment points provide a stable hold. The team-friendly lightweight is ideal for extensive backpacking on passages on easy rivers and lakes.

However, the interior dimension of 160 cm sets tighter limits in terms of space and comfort for two people. It is ideal with smaller partners or children.

The boat can be ridden with both double oars and single oars (multi-oars).

Other (ultralight) options
To save weight and space, the seats can also be replaced with luggage. Reducing or eliminating seatbacks is another way to trade comfort for space. The front seat can also be positioned rearward instead of in the direction of travel (face-to-face).

Seating system
The boat comes standard with a variable seating system, consisting of a freely positionable block seat and adjustable comfort back/belt, as well as an extra rear seat with backrest.

Driven as a single person - with one seat in a central seating position - the symmetry of the bow and stern makes the boat similar to a regular kayak and its handling characteristics. The block seat and backrest can be adjusted individually and therefore adapted to paddlers of different sizes.

The luggage is automatically positioned correctly and secured against slipping.
